new NSW environmental regulations will require all food businesses to separate food waste from general waste as part of the state’s commitment to reducing landfill and creating a more sustainable future.

At Granville Place, we are proactively preparing for ...these changes by introducing dedicated organic waste bins throughout the centre and providing clear waste-sorting guidance for all food retailers and staff. These improvements are designed to make compliance simple, efficient, and convenient for every business operating within the centre.

Correctly separating food and organic waste not only helps meet government requirements, but also supports cleaner operations, reduces contamination in general waste, minimises environmental impact, and contributes to a greener community for everyone.

We encourage all retailers to work together with centre management to ensure a smooth transition ahead of the new regulations. With everyone’s cooperation, we can create a cleaner, more sustainable, and environmentally responsible Granville Place for our customers, retailers, and the wider community.
